FD120ID - 120 MIN OF INSULATION
- 120-minute fully insulated (FD 120 ID) Fire rated lead lined doors system.
- Meets the Integrity and Insulation Criteria as per IS: 3614:2021 (amendment 2023) and BS: 476 part 22.
- Tested at a Government of India undertaking lab under standard heating conditions specified in IS 17518 (Part 1).
- Achieves the required integrity and insulation, restricting heat radiation and temperature rise on the non-fire side to a maximum of 140° C above ambient temperature on the exposed surface of the shutter.
- The fire doors are tested with NCBN technology (“Non-Combustible by Nature”).
- Radiation Testing at NTH in accordance with AERB norms.
- Manufactured from engineered treated hardwood or DVL (Densified Veneer Lumber) with a density of 810 kg/cum.
- Pressure treated with anti-termite chemicals in a vacuum impregnation vessel under 160 psi pressure, as per IS:401 standard.
- Kiln seasoned to reduce the moisture content below 15%, as per IS:1141 standard.
- Frame Section of 140mm X 70mm with 45mm thick two layered of 2mm thick Lead Line Sheets with 10mm overlap from either side.
- Spray quoted with 2 coats of Intumescent paint of minimum 100 micron.
- Single row of non-brush type intumescent strip of size 20mm x 4mm affixed in the slit of the frame for fire and smoke sealing.
- 57mm thick and asbestos free – Integrity and Fully Insulated Lead Lined Door, with fire performance of FD 120 ID as per IS:3614:2021 (amendment 2023) standard.
- The core is made of Deurcore, consisting of two layers of 8mm Calcium Silicate boards over a chemically treated internal timber framework of 100mm X 30mm.
- Internal timber framework made of engineered treated hardwood or DVL (Densified Veneer Lumber) with a density of 810 kg/cum, and is pressure treated with fire retardant chemicals in a vacuum impregnation vessel under 160 psi pressure, as per IS:401 standard. Also kiln seasoned to reduce the moisture content below 15%, as per IS:1141 standard.
- The infill made of 30mm thick ceramic fibre (density 128 Kg/cum) and vermiculite mix, which provides insulation and fire resistance.
- 3mm thick Lead Sheet on one side for radiation proofing
- Faced with 2mm thick fire-retardant high-density fibre board, and is internally lipped with hardwood beading.
- Pasted in hydraulic press under 25 MPa pressure, spray coated with two coats of intumescent paint of minimum 100-micron thickness.
- Single row of non-brush type intumescent strip of size 10mmx4mm affixed on the periphery for fire and smoke sealing in the slit on all edges of the shutter except the bottom, without any external lipping.
