Pre-Tender Fire Door Checklist

A clause-referenced review of the fire door schedule before the tender is frozen. Every item cites its source clause, so each one can be defended in a design review.

  • Based on IS 3614:2021 with Amd 1 (2023)
  • And NBC 2016 Part 4 · NBCS 2026 Part F
  • Reviewed Aug 2026

Before you rely on this: fire safety requirements vary by state and municipality, and most state byelaws still reference NBC 2016 rather than NBCS 2026. Ratings shown are those commonly specified under the cited clauses — always confirm the governing code edition and any local additions with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) before tender.
