What is 1 hr Fire Rated Door ?
Tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 20 – 22 IS 17518, IS 3614, this 1hr fire rated door limits temperature increase and heat radiation on the non-fire side to no more than 140°C over room temperature while exposed to fire.
In contrast to standard fire doors, FD60ID is evaluated for insulation, which reduces temperature increase and guarantees safe egress, in addition to integrity (flame resistance). This makes it a superior 1hr fire rated door option for complete fire safety.
The FD60ID has been tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 20 – 22 IS 17518, IS 3614 to limit temperature increase and heat radiation on the non-fire side to no more than 140°C over room temperature while exposed to fire, making it a fully compliant 1hr fire rated door.
